The Air Presto was first released in the 2000s and was an exciting concept: A shoe that is lightweight, with minimalistic design and as comfortable as your favorite t-shirt. With a sizing like actual T-Shirts (from XXS – XXL) they fulfilled the concept. Now it is time for an update. After re-releasing the OG colorways in the last months, Nike came up with an important upgrade: Flyknit.
The whole silhouette was covered in a Flyknit upper which makes the shoe even lighter and more comfortable. The upper ends in a mid-cut silhouette with a sockliner. The Air Presto Flyknit Ultra was released May 5th get your pair here.

Their UNEEK Sandal combines all of that in one shoe. Mita Sneakers from Japan, which are known for their open minded collaborations didn’t wait long to come up with their version of the hybrid sandal. 11BYBBS stares at the hispanic gangs attitude and aesthetic, alongside a focus on the marine imaginary to develop the SS16 collection. Black, white and navy – understanding navy as a tone of black – is the chromatic choice according to the inspirational subjects. Holes are a common thread throughout the collection as an analogy to bullet holes textures, declined in variant techniques as laser, knitting or embroidery. Keeping the holes concept, grommets are applied on garments as a reference to marine uniforms. Gold embroideries are elaborated as a deconstructed adaptation of marine dress trimmings, providing graphical metrical textures. A two middle finger artwork that stands as an 11 sign is printed and perforated as a classic positional graphic. As every season the fabric research is deep and accurate, a feature on Japanese denim and indigo dyed fabrics, a mixture from extra light to rigid fabrics with an emphasis on contrasted textures. Collaborations leaded by the bag collection with the german producer Ortlieb and the caps by the well known headwear brand New Era. HipHop and Punk were major influences, but Reggae/ Dancehall was always a major part too. For their latest lookbook they take us to the motherland of reggae music, Jamaica. With the help of UK photographer Tyrone Lebon STÜSSY created an authentic and colorful, rich aesthetic with locals posing in their natural habitat. Take a look here at the STÜSSY S/S ’16 campaign.
