An introduction to VISVIM


VISVIM creates future vintage. The japanese brand combines the heritage of americana culture with the heritage of manufacturing processes and creates something completely new.

By the use of hundred year old dying techniques they get color effects that can’t be recreated by machines.

Antique weaving techniques create a different feel and the use of selected materials from all over the world make every product unique.

The designs on the T-Shirts are handpainted, often with selfmade colors.

One of their most recognizable footwear pieces is the FBT, a super comfortable twist on an indian moccasin silhouette.


Travelling is a very important part, as the influences and materials/techniques come from all over the world, curated by founder Hiroki Nakamura.

Stüssy SS‘ 17 / First Drop

For their latest drop Stüssy delivers a broad variety of graphic tees with colored prints, pigment dyed tees, beachpants, graphic shirts and basic sleeves. Satin and denim jackets fulfill the introduction to this years Spring/Summer collection. Browse through the different styles via or instore in our MRQT boutique.

BORN X RAISED Holiday 16/17

For their holiday collection 16/17 Born & Raised deliver us their first Cut & Sew collection. They follow their roots with big, bold prints and their famous logo on mostly cream, burgundy and black pieces. All items are made in the USA.

MRQT Fall/Winter 2016 Editorial

We compiled some of our favorite fall/winter 2016 looks from our current brand portfolio at MRQT, including Our Legacy, Gosha Rubchinskiy, 11 by BBS, Stüssy, Libertine-Libertine, Le-Fix, Second Layer, Norse Projects,  Raf Simons x Fred Perry and Maharishi.

MAHARISHI AW`16 | Post-Geographic Devotional Uniform & Habits: Part II

The new season takes inspirations from subcultures as gangs, crews and tribes but also military platoons. As in previous collections maharishi represents a range of duality, as nature meets technology or east meets west. Aesthetics are taken from uniforms and moral codes of these brotherhoods and are complemented in the use of banners and badges as well as front and center branding. A new color by the name of Lama is inspired by the habits of Tibetan Buddhist monks. The construction is japanese tailoring with japanese fabrics and clean cuts. 






Gosha Rubchinskiy x Reebok „PACCBET“

Gosha Rubchinskiy just dropped his new footwear collaboration for Autum/Winter ’16 with reebok and branded it with PACCBET: (RASSVET) means sunrise. РАССВЕТ is a power, the beginning of a new day. A new day, a new life, a new world.” The collabo consits of two classic silhouettes: The Workout Plus and the ExoFit Hi Clean, both in full leather uppers with minimal branding: Reebok on the left shoes and of course, Paccbet on the right one.

But PACCBET is not only a branding that he used throughout several collections, it is also the name of Gosha’s new label, founded together with russian pro skater and muse Tolia Titaev. It is supposed to be a new skatelabel, with basic designs by Titaev himself.

Second Layer Fall/ Winter ’16 Lookbook

The L.A. brand describes their style as „chicano-minimal“, which couldn’t be described better. Drawing their main inspiration from 80’s collections of high end fashion brands, that blends in with their surf-/ skate heritage and chicano roots. Clean cuts, high quality materials and that laidback L.A. Style transferred into elegant simplicity. Watch out for the fall/ winter ’16 season dropping  on soon – Meanwhile check out the lookbook!

Stüssy and Tyrone Lebon team up again for the latest F/W ’16 lookbook and this time they chose Paris as destination. The editorial is referencing to the classics, playing with the boundaries between street culture and high art. The rebellious history of France in combination with the modern Paris are main themes, while paying homage to the big and low culture of the city of love.

When UK style and music had a strong influence in Belgium I became aware of the label through all the subcultures that adopted the Fred Perry shirt. I only realised the tennis connection at a later age.”

Fred Perry, the classic british brand named after the legendary tennis player of the 1930’s mostly known for its wide range of polo shirts meets Raf Simons, the belgian enfant terrible of the contemporary fashion scene. The classic british design gets a fashionable twist, with subtle colour blocking and high end fabrics.

Vault by Vans Presents Limited Edition Collection by Robert Williams

Vans brings the underground artist’s coveted paintings to life across Vans’ premium footwear

Vans has collaborated with one of America’s most maligned underground artists, Robert Williams, to bring his psychedelic artwork to life in a limited edition Vault by Vans capsule, introducing a striking trio of classic footwear and a very special Fender Stratocaster Guitar. With an approach that celebrates Vans’ 50th anniversary, the Vault by Vans x Robert Williams collection sustains the design elements of past Robert Williams partnerships by showcasing Robert’s intense creativity and imagination across Vans iconic forms.

In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, a new form of realism through paint presented perspectives that challenged the definition of fine art, focusing on the figurative graphics that formal art tended to reject: comic books, hot rod culture, surfer illustrations, movie posters and trading cards, to name a few. It was Robert Williams’ groundbreaking 1979 book, The Lowbrow Art of Robert Williams, that introduced the term “lowbrow” into the fine arts lexicon, fostering the evolution of “outlaw culture” in the art space. The Vault by Vans x Robert Williams offering features three prominent paintings by Robert that speak to this form of fine art including “Flaming Cobras”, “Malfeasance” and “Jalapeña.”

The Sk8-Hi 38 Decon LX, a deluxe version of Vans’ iconic high-top silhouette, reveals Robert’s intricate line art from the “Flaming Cobras” painting, which has been adapted to the shoe’s upper and lining. The panels of the Authentic 44 Reissue LX are covered with Robert’s “Malfeasance” and the outsole displays its central theme exposed through clear rubber. The Slip-On 98 Reissue LA “Jalapeña“ features one of Robert’s iconic works from the 1980s. The bold colors and heavy textural brushwork are featured on the toe and heel, while black leather is featured on the quarter panels and sockliner top sheet. All three styles feature an illustration printed under a unique clear rubber sole for an understated simplicity. The final piece of the collection is a stunning Fender Stratocaster Guitar, reimagining Robert Williams’ “Jalapeña” artwork in a full graphic print wrap around the body and guitar case.

Finally, Robert Williams’ personal signature is highlighted on the rear foxing tape accompanied by Vans “Off The Wall” heel scab and signature capsule logos on the footbeds. Each style will be packaged with printed cotton carry bags with Robert Williams uncrossed artwork inside of a custom pull-drawer shoebox.
